American Family Field is a retractable roof ballpark in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and home to the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball (MLB).
Brewers fans, known as “The Brew Crew,” will probably always know it as Miller Park. Whatever you choose to call it, American Family Field is one of MLB’s most elegant ballparks.

Of course, picking the right seats is still essential. Luckily, American Family Field has a great range of affordable and premium seating options to suit all budgets.
Our guide will share all the tips and info you need to choose the best MLB tickets and have the best Brewers experience possible.
A Primer on American Family Field

American Family Field is a retractable roof ballpark in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and home of the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball (MLB). It lies around 4 miles from Fiserv Forum, home of the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks.
The stadium opened in 2001 to replace the Brewers’ previous home, Milwaukee County Stadium. Its original name was Miller Park, and the first event held there was an exhibition game between the Milwaukee Brewers and the Chicago White Sox on March 30, 2001.

The first regular-season game at Miller Park took place on April 6, 2001, when the Brewers won 5-4 against the Cincinnati Reds.
Miller Park’s name changed to American Family Field on January 1, 2021. The first event in the renamed venue was the Milwaukee Brewers’ 2021 season opener on April 1, which ended in a 6-5 win in 10 innings against the Minnesota Twins.
American Family Field has a fan-shaped convertible roof, which takes less than 10 minutes to open and close. It features large glass panes that allow the ballpark’s natural grass playing surface to grow.

The maximum seating capacity at American Family Field is 41,900 for baseball games. It also hosts bowling events, basketball games, and live music concerts.
If you’re a member of “The Brew Crew,” you’ll find a great choice of Milwaukee Brewers team clothing at MLBshop.
Pick up the latest Brewers team uniform, show your support with your favorite Brewers player’s numbered jersey, or buy a personalized Milwaukee Brewers jersey with your name printed on the back.

American Family Field Seating Chart

Protective netting runs in front of sections 108-128.
Looking towards the field from the seating rows, the lowest seat numbers are on your left.
Standard Seating at American Family Field

The American Family Field seating charts show standard seating on the 100, 200, and 400 Levels. Bleacher seats are also available on the 100 and 200 Levels.
Ticket prices for seats purchased through the Milwaukee Brewers website are shown below, and all prices include fees. Brewers tickets can also be bought on secondary market websites, including Ticketmaster and StubHub.
Field Level Infield

The lower deck at American Family Field is known as Field Level. The infield seats on this level are often considered some of the best seats at American Family Field, bringing you as close as possible to the field. Most of these seats also enjoy reasonable shade cover when the roof is open.

Sections 115-120 seat you directly behind home plate. Sections 112-114 are located near the Brewers dugout, and sections 121-123 are close to the visitors’ dugout. Rows 4 or 5 will be the front row in sections behind the dugouts.
The front rows of sections 113-122 are known as Field Diamond Platinum or Field Diamond Box seats and offer the best possible views on the Field Level. Despite their name, these seats don’t attract any additional perks or amenities.
Field Diamond Platinum seats cost from $126, and ticket prices for Field Diamond Box seats start at $110.

Field Infield seats take up the rest of the rows in infield sections. Seats at the front of infield sections are designated Field Infield Platinum, starting at $94.
The rest of the section contains Field Infield seats, with ticket prices starting at $89.
Field Level Outfield

The Outfield sections on this level run between the corner bases and foul poles, and the front rows are next to the field walls. This makes Field Level Outfield seating a good option if you want to sit on the field level but don’t want the higher ticket prices for infield seating.
Sections 106-109 on the right field side are close to the home team dugout and see more shade when the roof is open.

Sections 126-131 on the left field side are a good choice for visiting fans who want to sit near their team’s dugout. You’ll have a good view of the scoreboard from this location, but this side of the field can be very sunny during open-roof games.
The front 5 rows of outfield sections 109 and 126-128 are designated Field Outfield Platinum, and seat prices start at $59. All other outfield seats are designated Field Outfield, and tickets start at $57.
Field Level Bleacher Seats

American Family Field has bleacher seats in sections 101-104, just beyond the right field wall. These are bench-style seats that have backrests but no armrests.
You’ll struggle to see the main Center Field scoreboard from this location, but TV screens help keep you in touch with scores and replays.
Seats at the front of these sections are known as Field Bleachers Box sections. They’re uncovered and in prime position for home run balls hit by left-handed batters. Sections 101-102 are also just above the visiting team’s bullpen.
Rows further back are covered by the overhang from the Loge Level Bleachers above them, so there’s less chance of catching a home run ball.
Field Bleacher seats start at $32-$40, depending on your seating row.
Loge Level Infield

The next tier up from the field is known as the Loge Level. Sections on this level are divided into Loge Level Infield and Outfield seats.
Loge Level infield sections 210-227 run from first base to third base, offering good views at an affordable price.
The first 5 rows of Loge Level Infield sections 210-227 are known as Loge Diamond Box seats. These offer the best views on the Loge Level but don’t receive any additional perks or amenities.
Seats in these rows start at $67.
The remaining rows in sections 216-221 are designated Loge Infield Platinum, and ticket prices start at $62. Section 217 is a designated family section, and alcohol can’t be consumed in this area.
Seats behind the first 5 rows of 210-215 and 222-227 are known as Loge Infield seats, where prices start at $61.
Loge Level Outfield

Outfield sections 206-209 and 228-232 on the Loge Level offer a good option if you want affordable seats without sitting on the stadium’s top deck.
You’ll still have an elevated view of the game but won’t be as close as the Loge Infield seating. However, the seats are angled towards the infield for comfortable viewing, even near the foul poles.
The seats in the front 3 rows are designated Loge Outfield Platinum, and the rest are designated Loge Outfield. However, there’s no difference in price, and your tickets could start at $45 in any Loge Level section.
Loge Level Bleacher Seats

American Family Field Loge Level Bleachers are located in sections 201-205 and 233-236 behind the right and left field walls. Like the Field Level Bleachers, these are bench-style bleachers with backrests, but no armrests.
These sections offer a chance of catching a home run ball. Section 236 is near the Brewers’ bullpen, while choosing right field sections will give you a view of Bernie’s Chalet. You’ll also have a better chance of shade for games with the roof open.
Loge Bleacher seats start at $34.
Terrace Level Infield

The Upper Level at American Family Field is known as the Terrace Level, and this is where you’ll find more affordable seats for a Milwaukee Brewers game.
The front 7 rows of sections 407-437 are known as Terrace Box seats and offer the best views on the Terrace level. Terrace Box seats are also below the entrance tunnel, giving easier seat access. However, seats in the front row can have their views obstructed by the safety railing.
Section 417 is a designated Family section, and alcohol is strictly prohibited in this area.
Seats in Terrace Box rows start at $33.
Seats further back in sections 407-432 are known as Terrace Infield. The views from here aren’t as good as the front rows, and you’ll have to climb steep stairs from the entrance tunnel to your seat.
Some seats in Terrace Level section 422 have their views obstructed by the roof supports. If you sit in this location, try to get seats near the middle of the row for better views.
Terrace Infield seats start at $24.
Uecker Seats

Named after the legendary Brewers play-by-play commentator, Bob Uecker, Uecker Seats are available to purchase for $5 when the gates open on game day. They aren’t available for Postseason games and all payments must be made with cash.
These seats are located behind home plate on the Terrace Level. They’re behind the last row of section 422, and have partially obstructed views.
Terrace Level Outfield

Seats behind the Terrace Box seats in sections 433-437 and throughout sections 438-442 are known as Terrace Outfield seats. The views from this location aren’t the best. However, these sections tend to be less crowded for regular season games, making them a good family-friendly choice.
Upper Level sections 441 and 442 are often known as Bernie’s Terrace as they’re close to Bernie’s Chalet, where the Brewers’ mascot provides entertainment for the fans.
Terrace Outfield seats are some of the cheapest seats at American Family Field, with prices likely to start at $24.

Formerly known as Friday’s Front Row, the American Family Field Barrel Yard offers 3 unique ways to watch the Brewers from just behind the left field wall.

Which Seats Are Shaded At American Family Field?

When the roof is open, seats at right field corner and along the first base line receive the most shade. Fans sitting in sections 106-115, 206-215, and 404-420 will have their backs to the sun for most of the game.
Sections under cover on the Upper Deck are also shaded.
Late afternoon games will see the sun behind fans sitting along the 1st base line for most of the game. Sitting at the right field wall means you’ll probably have the sun in your eyes for the later part of the game.

If the roof is closed, most seats will be in shade, however seats in left field may see some sun in the late afternoon or early evening.
